Streamer Benjamin Lupo, known under the nickname DrLupo, announced the transition to YouTube Gaming in the announcement video. There will be no more streams on Twitch.
“I am incredibly fortunate to be able to do what I love and even more grateful to be able to give back to causes that I care about the most,” said Lupo.

Thus, DrLupo will leave its Twitch channel with 4.5 million subscribers and go to YouTube , where it has over 1.7 million subscribers.
The sum of the exclusive contract was not disclosed, but in an interview with The Washington Post, Lupo noted that due to the deal, he was “secured for life.”
The blogger also noted that this will allow him to spend much more time with his family and do what he is really interested in, and not what the sponsors demand of him.
