US streamer Ludwig Ahgren completed a 31- day Twitch live stream. He extended it by 15 seconds for each new subscriber
Information about this was published at the Dexerto portal.
On March 14, Ludwig Ahgren promised viewers that he would extend the current broadcast by 15 seconds every time a new user subscribes to his channel. The streamer started a special timer displaying the remaining time that needed to be spent online.
Ludwig Ahgren‘s stream quickly went viral. At times, the timer showed that the American needed to continue broadcasting for more than 60 hours, and sometimes the figure dropped to several seconds, but viewers did not miss the opportunity to extend the stream.
At the end of the past month, the number of subscribers to the Ludwig Ahgren channel increased from 2.2 to 2.6 million people, and the streamer broke the Twitch record for the growth of the channel’s popularity.
In 31 days, Ludwig Ahgren earned over a million dollars. At the final moment of the stream, there were more than 220 thousand people online. The streamer admitted that he understands that this moment will surely become the pinnacle of his career.
The American did not leave the frame, even when he satisfied his natural needs – Ludwig Ahgren took a shower (of course, in shorts so as not to violate the platform rules) and slept in front of the audience. The rest of the time, the streamer played, chatted and did physical exercises.
Previously, streamer Indiefoxx, who is best known for streaming from a hot tub in her underwear, said that she was able to come up with a new approach to broadcasting on the Twitch platform. On Twitter, the girl wrote that she became successful thanks to the bans on the site.
