Logitech has released a webcam designed specifically for streamers. The device is called very, very unusual – StreamCam.
StreamCam by Logitech characteristics
The camera can shoot video at 1080p and 60 frames per second (StreamCam at Logitech site).
Plus, the company has prepared special software for those who like to post something on social networks, including for vertical video (say, videos for Snapchat or Facebook Stories).
Also, the local Capture program can stabilize the image, cleverly adjust the focus on the face of the streamer, and even adjust the frame so that the aforementioned streamer never moves out of it.
Disadvantages: This wonderful software for StreamCam works only with hardware on Windows.
However, Logitech is already rolling out an update, with support for devices on the Mac, as well as “night mode” with reconfigured effects for the scene.
The divice costs $170 and is sold so far only in the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
In the rest of the world, the camera will appear “during the upcoming months”.
